Victor and his twin sister Valerie finally turned 22 this past Monday (5/13) and it was such a perfect day! I surprised Victor by baking cupcakes (for the first time!) and decorating our apartment with balloons, streamers, and confetti! It wasn't easy blowing up those balloons with the heat LA had going on that day! I made the 'happy bday' sign out of old magazine cut outs and I loved the way it all came together. We spent the day at his parents house and as you can see, their house was very festive! Victors mom decorated their home beautifully and it looked incredible! Not only were the decorations amazing but the cake looked delicious and adorable all at the same time. I love the cakes she bakes, especially since she makes her own icing! We went out to dinner and had a great time catching up and laughing out loud. Just thinking about dinner brings a smile to my face! I always have a good time with Victors family! After dinner it was time to cut the cake and open gifts. Both Victor and Valerie got everything they wanted. They were both very excited and it was fun looking at their surprised faces opening the gifts. I gifted Victor tickets to the Ke$ha concert in June (placed them inside a card I made complete with a Ke$ha reference) and a Blue Microphone because I know how important music is for him, if I could I would build him his own little studio! We will continue celebrating his birthday this weekend and I am so very excited!
Check out the video I made for Victors' special day!:
