SNAPPED.

I wanted to take a couple photos before this blog post to capture my life these past 2-3 weeks. I wanted to make a photo diary type of post. With less words (not sure how this is going to work out) and more photographs. These past few weeks have been pretty great and memorable. I reunited with old friends; Ashley and Alexis (Ashley was actually on the amazing race this season so we had a TON to talk about it). It's always great to have friends over in our apartment and entertain. We did a lot of entertaining that night, so much that we actually got our first noise complaint! WHOOPS! Trying to keep this post short! In these 3 weeks I finally went to an estate sale with my good friend Koko,we have been talking about going and it actually happened! I love estate sales and seeing how people lived, we went to a FABULOUS one. I was fangirling hard, it was a well known doctor that was friends with the one and only MICHAEL JACKSON. I'm talking legit MJ pieces (he actually had a room in this estate), VERSACE PILLOWS AND ROBES. DEAD. On a brighter note, our stationery shop Palm Tree Punk  handmade decorations and invitations for my little cousins 1 year birthday party. Follow us on instagram @palmtreepunk! We also went to the launch of our good friend Onch's Hello Kitty collaboration, and danced the night away at my friends 20th birthday celebration! We ended the festivities by celebrating Black Friday with a gold themed dinner party. Victor cooked a delicious turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing! I am a LUCKY GUY :) Enjoy the photos below!

*P.S DIY TIP: we covered our table with wrapping paper! Simple, creative, and a quick clean up!*

My nephew is so photogenic! I LOVE HIM!

I guess I'm not too good at this whole "less words" thing!

III.

Victor and I celebrated our 3 years this past week! YES THREE YEARS! TRES!!! It is crazy looking back at these three years, and everything that has happened! I sometimes find myself thinking back to the years BV (before Victor) and how I would have never thought I'd be where I am now. In these three years we learned a lot about each other, met each others family members and friends (and learned a lot about each one of them)  and took a huge step to moving in together! I remember being excited and nervous taking this huge step but now a little more than a year later I love it! I love our small studio, and even though I would like a bigger space I'm content with what we have. I love coming home to our home and coming home to him.

The day of our anniversary (November 7th) Victor surprised me at work with a 3 DOZEN rose arrangement! I could not believe it and I was so excited, that it was borderline nervous! My heart was pumping so fast and I was in shock. No one has ever done that for me and I have never been in that situation. If anything I usually am the one to bust something like that so it was such a wonderful feeling! Plus he got to meet some of my coworkers!

Later that night we celebrated by taking the train downtown to Bottega Louie, such a cute french restaurant and bakery. It reminds me so much of NY and a restaurant where Carrie Bradshaw would likely visit with her girlfriends. The food was incredible and so was our waitress Zoe. She was adorable! After dinner we walked downtown and stopped by one of Victors favorite spots "The Standard Hotel". Of course we took advantage of the photobooth! As soon as we got home we exchanged gifts and it was so funny to see that we kind of got each other almost the exact same thing. I gifted Victor one of Andy Warhols early work (illustrations for a children's book) and an instagram projecter from Projecteo that showed some memories of our 3 years. He gifted me a view master with some favorite photos of us! CRAZY! The surprise didn't stop there, Saturday he surprised me with an all day pass to the mini theme park "Pacific Park" in the Santa Monica Pier!

These gold glittered gift tags are avaiable on our Etsy shop: PALM TREE PUNK!

p.s I just downloaded this super kawaii app called    Korawia and I am obsessed with it!

KOKO.

For the past few weeks I have done nothing but spend time with my dear friend Koko. I LOVE THIS GIRL! We met at our previous job (BCBG), and have remained good friends even after saying SEE YA! to the retail life. I just love spending time with her, she is a great person with such great energy. She always laughs at my jokes and even if she laughs at me she could never make me mad! It's funny how life works out, I am so glad I met her and that we are both so comfortable with each other. I always have such a good time with her even if it's staying in on a Friday night watching movies together. This may sound cheesy but I don't think I've ever met a girl like her (trust me I have had a lot of girl friends and she is like NO OTHER!). It also makes it that much better that Victor and her get along so well. We have been hanging out a lot that even some weird things have been happening. We happen to be on the same page for a lot of things. Kind of like our minds are connected and it's so crazy! Saturday we spent the day shopping and Sunday was such a relaxing fun day. We took the train downtown to the flower district and walked a ton of blocks admiring the pretty flowers and the cute succulents. She, like me, adores succulents! We didn't realize how hard it would be to pick a couple succulents to take home. We bought a ton and she started her own terrarium! I must say it looks so cute that I now need to find a bowl to make my own!

Take a look at a couple photos from our hang out, and a photo of what Victor and I dressed up as for Halloween!

I DON'T ALWAYS YOLO BUT WHEN I DO IT'S WITH KOKO!
