CRAFTED.

Saturday night came and we spent the night at a HUGE Etsy crafting party! We headed down to San Pedro to attend "Crafted at the Port Of LA". There were so many creative booths and free arts and crafts activities for everyone in attendance. We met so many great artists and talented Etsy crafters.

beach boys.

This past Thursday was scheduled to be a day of visiting and catching up with old friends. That however was cancelled due to last minute changes.  As a way to not let our day off go to waste, we took a trip down to the beach.  We drove 45 minutes south of Downtown away from the busy city streets, away from the 'popular' California beaches to a small local beach in Long Beach: Mothers Beach.

There's nothing like escaping the daily routine.

CHI-TOWN.

After a long Saturday spent at work, we took off to Chinatown to celebrate 'Summer Nights'. It was a night filled with music, vendors, arts, dancing, lots of confetti and neon lights. Check out the gif's I made with the photographs I took of the night below:

THRIFT.

A day that was supposed to be spent at the beach was cancelled by the unpredictable LA weather. Victor and I woke up to a surprisingly gloomy day, that led us to cancel our plans and reschedule our beach day getaway. We took a trip to a huge thrift store (more like a warehouse) just off the 110 freeway: ' Saint Vincent De Paul'. It was both our first time going and we loved it! Some items were a bit pricey but the selection is HUGE and it is really organized. There's even a section with racks of 1.00 dollar clothing! We ended up taking a vintage Disney cup, and a comfy over sized sweater. The furniture, chandeliers and pianos were a dream!

SATC.

STARTED FROM HOME DEPOT NOW IT'S HERE:

Victor and I spent the beginning of the weekend relaxing at home watching the complete first season of Sex and the City. I borrowed the season from my sister Julie, she actually got me into watching the show and the two movies are now a favorite of mine. We took a trip to Home Depot, where I planned to purchase my first succulent! I haven't had much look with the flowers I planted, so I wanted something that would be low maintenance and still look cute. I have been researching succulents, and was eager to get some for our apartment. I was so excited when I purchased this one. I placed it in an old pasta sauce jar, and think that it will look great once it starts to grow. I can't wait to purchase more succulents! Victor cooked a great meal; some tasty lemon pepper chicken and pasta! We finally had the perfect night to enjoy the champagne that a client of his gifted him. The champagne knocked Victor out hehe ^.^

In celebration of us drinking the champagne enjoy this Marina and the Diamonds video for 'shampain' below!
